Indications:
-> common cold (no proof of effectiveness)
Dosage:
- nasal gel
- zinc acetate (2X = 1/100 dilution), & zinc gluconate (1X = 1/10 dilution);
- intranasal spray
Adverse effects:
- loss of smell ?
a) may occur after first use or after multiple uses
b) may be permanent [2]
