Indications: -> common warts Contraindications: 1) genital warts 2) facial warts Dosage: (application) 1) Wartner is sprays onto a foam applicator 2) the applicator cools & it is applied to the wart 3) the wart freezes 4) apply once, then again in 10 days if wart does not fall off Adverse effects: -> does NOT get as cold as liquid nitrogen, thus may be better tolerated Mechanism of action: 1) contains dimethyl ether & propane 2) acts by cryotherapy 3) works about as well as liquid nitrogen Notes: Cost: about $20 for 10 applications
