Physiology: - vitamin K2 is the major form of Vitamin K in humans - it is produced via conversion of vitamin K1 in the testes, pancreas & in arterial walls Indications: - hemostatic agent - adjunctive therapy for pain of osteoporosis - treatment of nocturnal leg cramps Dosage: - 180 ug PO QD (nocturnal leg cramps) [1]
