Indications: - viral infection: - assessment of neutralizing antibodies (immunity) Procedure: - virus & serum are mixed under appropriate condition & then inoculated into cell culture, eggs or animals - unneutralized virus may be detected by reactions such as cytopathic effect, haemadsorption/haemagglutination, plaque formation, disease in animals.
