Etiology: unknown
Clinical manifestations:
1) skin manifestations:
a) crawling, biting & stinging sensations
b) granules, threads, fibers, or black speck-like materials on or beneath the skin
c) skin rashes or sores
2) additional manifestations:
a) fatigue, mental confusion, short term memory loss
b) joint pain
c) changes in vision
Laboratory: none helpful
Management: supportive
