triethanolamine polypeptide oleate-condensate (Cerumenex)

Tradename: Cerumenex. Indications: removal of earwax Dosage: Fill ear canal for 15-30 min to loosen cerumen. Flush ear with warm water (within 30 minutes). Follow with Swim Ear or Auro-Dri. Solution: otic 10% with cholrobatanol. Adverse effects: - uncommon (< 1%) - mild erythema & pruritus, severe eczematous reactions, localized dermatitis
