transient (reversible) urinary incontinence

Temporary episodes of urinary incontinence that are reversible once the cause or causes of the episode(s) are identified & treated. Etiology: Reversible factors (DRIP) - D: delirium, dementia, depression - R: restricted mobility, retention - I: infection, inflammation (atrophic vaginitis), impaction - P: pharmaceuticals, polyuria (glycosuria, CHF)
