Suppressor of RNA polymerase B (SRB). The genes encoding yeast SRB proteins were isolated as suppressors of mutations in the RNA polymerase 2 L' carboxy-terminal domain (CTD). The SRB proteins are subunits of yeast RNA polymerase 2.
