Rinkel test; provocation neutralization

Indications: - allergy, allergen testing Principle: - based on the concept that extremely small quantities of allergen (provocation) can cause immediate disappearance (neutralization) of ongoing symptoms Clinical significance: - can theoretically be used in allergy diagnoses - not appropriate for clinical use due to issues with detecting specific allergens
