Hypertrophy of the nose with follicular dilatation. Etiology: rosacea Epidemiology: -> more common in men than women Pathlogy: 1) sebaceous gland hyperplasia 2) fibrosis 3) increased vascularity Clinical manifestations: - irregular nodular growth & deformity of the nose - affects the tip of the nose - the sides & top of the nose can also be involved * images [3] Management: 1) CO2 laser surgery 2) dermabrasion 3) electrosurgery
