rab GDP dissociation inhibitor, smg p25A GDP dissociation inhibitor or rab3A GDP dissociation inhibitor (rab3A-GDI)

Inhibits dissociation of GDP from rab proteins. Solubilizes membrane-associated rab9-GDP. rab GDI may only recognize prenylated forms of rab subfamily proteins [5].
