plasma cell

CD38+, syndecan-1+, CD19+, CD56- or (weak) Plasma cells are derived from lymph node germinal center B-cells via differentiation into memory B-cells & plasma cells through interaction with T-cells & follicular dendritic cells. Plasma cells die via apoptosis after several weeks to months. Each plasma cell may produce 1 ng of immunoglobulin/day.
