Indications:
- acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
Specimen:
1) bone marrow
2) whole blood (ACD or EDTA)
3) store body fluid at 4 degrees C
4) store tissue at -20 degrees C or below
Genetics:
- associated genetic aberrations:
a) chromosomal translocation t9q34:22q11 (Philadelphia chromosome) 10-15% (ALL-L1, ALL-L2)
b) chromosomal translocation t8q24.1:14q32 (ALL-L3)
