Complications: Predictors of poor outcomes: - unreactive pupils & absent corneal reflexes bilateral 1-3 days after CPR - no response to pain & extensors reflexes only after 3 days - myoclonic status epilepticus within 24 hours of CPR - absence of cortical responses to somatosensory evoked potentials 1-3 days after CPR - increased serum neuron-specific enolase > 33 ug/L at 1-3 days after CPR
