nerve to thyrohyoid, (thyrohyoid branch of ansa cervicalis)
Derived from the cervical plexus, it contains C1 & C2 fibers that have accompanied the hypoglossal nerve to the suprahyoid region, which then branch to reach the thyrohyoid.
