A musculatr tube (ca. 20 cm long) that conveys urine as well as spermatic fluid from the internal urethral orifice of the urinary bladder to the external urethral orifice at the tip of the glans penis. Divided into 4 parts: 1) Urethra in the bladder neck(preprostatic urethra) 2) Prostatic urethra 3) Intermediate part of the urethra(membraneous urethra) 4) Spongy urethra
