Indications: -> prevention of Lyme disease Off the market in 2002 due to low demand. Dosage: 1) doses at 0, 1 & 2-6 months 2) booster at 12 months & yearly therafter Pharmacokinetics: 1) 50% effective after 2nd dose 2) 78% effective after 3rd dose Adverse effects: 1) arthritis 2) muscle pain Mechanism of action: 1) stimulation of antibody production that work in the gut of the offending tick 2) contains synthetic form of OspA protein
