Oncogenes: - c-myc - K-ras mutations (~15-20% non small cell carcinomas, not small cell carcinoma) Overexpressed proteins: - EGFR - cyclin D1 - bcl-2 protein Tumor suppressor genes: - p53 (~90% small cell carcinoma, ~50% non small cell carcinoma) - Rb (~90% small cell carcinoma, ~20% non small cell carcinoma) - p16 (<1% small cell carcinoma, >50% non small cell carcinoma) Other less frequently involved: FHIT, RASFF1A, SEMA3B, PTEN, hOGG1, BAP1
