Stenosis of the left main coronary artery Pathology: - affect interventricular septum & anterior & lateral walls of the left ventricle Management: - 50% stenosis is clinically significant & places the patient as a candidate for CABG or PCI - CABG preferred over PCI [3] - PCI with coronary stenting with similar outcomes to CABG for left main disease [1,2] (see PCI vs CABG)
