laryngeal function study

Indications: - dysphonia Procedure: - aerodynamic voice analysis - measures how air from the lungs passes between & drives the vocal folds as the patient makes sound into an air transducer - acoustic analysis - the patient speaks into a microphone, & instruments translate factors including hoarseness, pitch, & loudness as a function of time
