Kimura's disease
Etiology:
- idiopathic
Epidemiology:
- most common in young Asian men
Pathology:
- chronic inflammatory disorder
Clinical manifestations:
- subcutaneous masses of the head & neck,
- lymphadenopathy is common
- nephrotic syndrome is some casea
Laboratory:
- complete blood count (CBC): eosinophilia
- serum IgE is elevated
- urine protein may be nephrotic level
Differential diagnosis:
- epithelioid hemangioma
