Indications:
- cholangiography
- cholecystography
- computerized tomography [2]
- intravenous pyelography
- cystourethrography
- hysterosalpingography
- cerebral angiography
- aortography
- renal arteriography
- peripheral arteriography
- splenoportography
- venography [2]
Dosage:
1) 10.3 %: 100 mL by slow IV infusion over 30-45 minutes
2) 52%: 20 mL by infusion over 10 minutes
Injection: 24% (300 mL), 65% (50 mL)
Monitor:
1) observe for 30-60 minutes for immediate hypersensitivity reactions
2) resuscitative measures should be available prior to administration
