insect sting or anaphylaxis kit (Ana-Kit)
Indications:
- patient emergency self treatment for:
1) anaphylaxis
2) emergency treatment of insect bites or stings
Dosage:
Epinephrine:
1) adults & children > 12 years: 0.3 mL
2) children 6-12 years: 0.2 mL
3) 2-6 years of age: 0.15 mL
4) < 2 years: 0.05-0.1 mL
Chlorpheniramine:
1) adults & children > 12 years: 4 tablets
2) children 6-12 years: 2 tablets 30 children < 6 years: 1 tablet
Epinephrine hydrochloride (1:1000) 1 mL syringe
Chorpheniramine maleate chewable tabet 2 mg (4)
Sterile alcohol pads (2) , Tourniquet
