for CMV seronegative patients Indications: 1) well established risk - pregnant women - premature infants (birth weight < 1200 g) - intrauterine transfusions - recipients of allogenic bone marrow transplants or stem cell transplants from seronegative donors - patients with HIV infection - recipient of a solid organ transplant from CMV seronegative donor 2) risk less well established - patients who are potential candidates for bone marrow transplant - autologous bone marrow & progenitor cell transplant recipients
