binds ISGF3 after translocation into the nucleus following IFN type-1 (IFN-alpha & IFN-beta) binding to cell surface receptors, Jak kinase (TYK2 & JAK1) activation, STAT1 & STAT2 phosphorylation & association of STAT1, STAT2 & ISGF3G for form ISGF3.
