Function: - receptor for ligands (trioxilins A3 & B3) from the hepoxilin pathway (putative) Structure: belongs to the NIPA family Compartment: membrane Expression: - highly expressed in brain, lung, stomach, skin & leukocytes, & in all other tissues tested except liver, thyroid & fetal brain Pathology: - defects in ICHN are the cause of an autosomal recessive congenital ichthyosis
