Overdose of heparin Laboratory: - aPTT prolonged, outside of therapeutic range 1.5-2.5 X control (55-85 seconds) Management: - infusion of protamine sulfate 1 mg/100 units of heparin - maximum dose 100 mg in 2 hours (risk of anaphylaxis)
