Hunner's ulcer
A focal & often multiple lesion involving all layers of the bladder wall.
Etiology:
- chronic interstitial cystitis
Pathology:
1) the surface of the bladder epithelium is destroyed by inflammation
2) the initial lesion cracks & bleeds with bladder distension
Laboratory: cystoscopy
