Golgi SNARE complex (Golgi SNAP receptor complex)

Function: - may function in a) homotypic fusion of late endosomes b) heterotypic fusion of late endosomes with lysosomes c lysosomal exocytosis Structure: - presumptively SNARE core complex - may be several different SNARE complexes including complexes containing: a) Golgi SNAREs GOSR1, GOSR2 & YKT6 & STX5 b) VTI1B, STX7, STX8 & VAMP8 c) STX18, USE1L, BNIP1/SEC20L, & SEC22B - RINT1/TIP20L & ZW10 are associated with the complex through interaction with BNIP1/SEC20L d) STX4, SNAP23, VAMP7 e) STX7, STX8, VAMP7 & VTI1B
