Pathology:
- allele B of is associated with susceptibility to nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy
- defects in GP1BA are a cause of
a) Bernard-Soulier syndrome
b) benign Mediterranean macrothrombocytopenia
c) von Willebrand disease
