Tradenames: FML. Dosage: ophthalmic: 1 drop every 1-6 hours Ointment: 0.1% (3.5 g) Suspension: 0.1% (5 mL, 10 mL), 0.25% (5 mL, 10 mL, 15 mL) Adverse effects: 1) not common (1-10%) - blurred vision 2) uncommon (< 1%) - stinging, burning, increased intraocular pressure, open-angle glaucoma, defect in visual acuity, decrease in field of vision, cataracts Laboratory: - fluorometholone in serum/plasma - fluorometholone in urine
