- prevention of peptic ulcer & NSAID gastritis in patients taking NSAID for pain, inflammation
Dosage:
- TID dosing
Tabs: ibuprofen 800 mg plus famotidine 26.6 mg
Adverse effects:
- dyspepsia
Mechanism of action:
- prevents peptic ulcer
- does not prevent dyspepsia [2]
