Flex, ADduct, & Internally Rotate (FADIR) test

Indications: - hip pain Procedure: - Flex, ADduct, & Internally Rotate hip - either hip is flexed, adducted & internally rotated with downward pressure to the knee reproducing the pain Interpretation: - restricted range of motion, mainly limitation of adduction & internal rotation are common with intra-articular hip disease - pain in the buttocks & reduced active flexion also positive FADIR signs [1]
