Etiology: - excessive dynamic airway collapse of the posterior membrane - tracheobronchomalacia Clinical manifestations: - may coexist with or mimic asthma, COPD or bronchiectasis - cough, dyspnea, sputum production - recurrent respiratory tract infections Special laboratory: - dynamic flexible bronchoscopy Management: - tracheobroncheal stent - tracheobronchoplasty if stent fails
