- neurosurgery on brainstem or cerebellum
Procedure:
- recording stimulus-related responses or electrical potentials of the inner ear & auditory nerve
a) cochlear microphonics (organ of Corti)
b) summating potentials (organ of Corti)
c) action potential (auditory nerve)
