Function: - synovial joint connecting humerus to radius & ulna of forearm Structure: - articular surfaces of the elbow are connected by a capsule, which thicken medially & laterally. - major ligaments of the elbow include: - ulnar collateral ligament - radial collateral ligament - annular ligament Innervation: - musculocutaneous nerve, radial nerve & ulnar nerve Arterial supply: - derived from the anastomosis around the elbow joint
