Illegal*, but FDA generally looks the other way if patients import < 90 day supply. Most patients have no idea they are breaking the law. * Exceptions: a small amount of a foreign drug NOT approved in the USA Canadian pharmacies cannot fill prescription from a physician NOT licensed in Canada. A few Canadian pharmacies have an in house physician that rewrites prescriptions.
