double-sheet method

Maneuver for treatment of anterior shoulder dislocation. Procedure: - place patient supine on treatment table - one sheet is held around patient's torso by an assistant - a 2nd sheet around the patient's arm provides lateral traction while the physician applies firm, but gentle traction to the arm along the axial plane.
