Laboratory:
- normal anion gap metabolic alkalosis
- serum potassium: hypokalemia
- serum chloride: hypochloremia
- urinalysis: elevated levels of urine sodium, urine potassium & urine chloride [2]
Differential diagnosis:
- laxative abuse: urine chloride low
- vomiting: urine chloride low
Management:
- cognitive behavioral therapy
