Indications: - behavioral problems in demented patients Procedure: - the caregiver & patient are asked to describe a behavior, its context, & potential triggers - caregiver collaborates with caregiver & other members or team to implement plan* - 5 domains of intervention strategies - caregiver education - enhancing effective communication between the care giver & demented patient - creating meaningful activities for the demented patient - simplifying tasks & establishing structured routines - ensuring safety & simplifying & enhancing the environment * it seems as if the patient is omitted
