Indications: - treatment-resistant hypertension - for use in conjunction with other antihypertensives, including a diuretic Dosage: - 50-300 mg PO QD Adverse effects: - fluid retention (most common, 25%) Mechanism of action: - lowers systolic & diastolic pressures - reduces systolic blood pressure 10-20 mm Hg systolic - endothelin-receptor antagonist
