Pathology:
- large cyst-like cavities containing lymph
Clinical manifestations:
- usually affects children
- rarely, presents in adulthood
- most common in the left posterior triangle of the neck & axilla
- cystic hygromas can grow very large
Complications:
- may affect breathing & swallowing
