- disorder of the cornea
Genetics:
- autosomal dominant
- associated with defects in PIP5K3 gene
Clinical manifestations:
- numerous small white flecks scattered in all levels of the corneal stroma
- patients are typically asymptomatic & have normal vision
- may occasionally cause mild photophobia
