Function: 1) organization of the actin cytoskeleton - may act downstream of CDC42 to induce actin filament 2) induces pseudopodia formation in fibroblasts 3) inhibits MAPK8 independently of CDC42 binding 4) controls septin organization, this effect negatively regulated by CDC42 5) interacts with CDC42, GTP-dependent manner 6) interacts with SEPT7 Structure: - CRIB domain mediates interaction with CDC42 - belongs to the BORG/CEP family - contains 1 CRIB domain Compartment: - endomembrane system, peripheral membrane (putative) - cytoplasm, cytoskeleton
