Function: - may act as a receptor in regulating T-cell proliferation - interacts with CD72/LYB-2 Structure: contains 3 SRCR domains Compartment: membrane Expression: - B-cells of mantle zone - B-cells in peritoneal & pleural cavities - almost all T-cells Pathology: - expressed in a) B cell CLL/small lymphocytic lymphoma b) mantle cell lymphoma c) hairy cell leukemia d) most T-cell malignancies e) thymic carcinomas (spindle cell thymomas negatively stain for antibody)
