cardiac plexus

A wide-meshed network of anastomosing of afferent autonomic fibers (sympathetic & parasympathetic). Origin: - cardiopulmonary & splanchnic nerves Course: - the plexus surrounds the arch of the aorta & the pulmonary artery & continues to the atria, cardiac ventricles & coronary vessels.
