Indications: symptomatic relief of non-productive cough
Dosage:
1) 100 mg PO TID-QID
2) maximum: 600 mg/day
Capsule: 100 mg.
Adverse effects:
- uncommon (1-10%)
- sedation, headache, dizziness, GI upset, nasal congestion, skin rash, burning sensation in eyes, numbness in chest Mechansim of action:
