Thiazide diuretic used in ASCOT BPLA trial.
Dosage:
- start 5 mg PO QD
- max 20 mg/day
- maintenance 2.5-5 mg QD
- 1.25-2.5 mg PO QD elderly
* Tabs: 5 & 10 mg
