Hypopigmented lesions, oval, polygonal or ash leaf in shape. Etiology: - tuberous sclerosis (earliest cutaneous sign) Clinical manifestations: 1) hypopigmented lesions may be present at birth 2) oval, polygonal or ash leaf in shape 3) 1-3 cm in size (average) Laboratory: -> lesions enhanced by Wood's lamp
