Origin: vertebral artery Distribution: 1) posterior part of cerebellar hemisphere 2) inferior vermis 3) central nuclei of cerebellum 4) choroid plexus of fourth ventricle 5) dorsolateral region of the medulla oblongata Pathology: - occlusion can lead to lateral medullary syndrome or Wallenberg's syndrome.
